Send an event to your webhook

Create a webhook in the BellRelay app to get a unique URL and a key shown once. The body must be BellRelay event JavaScript Object Notation (JSON). Arbitrary third-party payloads are not accepted.

Uniform Resource Locator (URL)
https://api.bellrelay.com/v1/webhooks/src_2k9f8aQ3mNpL7xR4vW8bT1cY
Name
Contact Form
Mode
test

Put the key in Authorization: Bearer $BELLRELAY_KEY. Never put the key in the URL or in these query parameters.

curl

Create from the application programming interface (API)

Creating a webhook uses a signed-in user session, not the source key. The create response includes the ingest URL, the one-time secret, and this example body.

POST /v1/event-sources
{ "businessId": "biz_…", "name": "Contact Form", "mode": "test" }

Lost the key? Regenerate it in the app. The URL stays the same. The old key stops working immediately.
